Since Pesach 2024, Leon decided to stop grooming until the hostages were all released. As a husband, father and grandfather he cannot allow himself to wake each morning without thinking about the fate of the hostages.

Leon is a life-long Zionist committed to strengthening the connection of Jews to Israel, to our history and our values.

He is fiercely committed to a free and open society, to his Jewish identity, and to the Zionist idea of building Israel to be a just society that is a ‘light unto nations’ and one that lives in harmony with its neighbours.
