We are committed to working to promote environmental sustainability and to support widespread and effective climate action. This extends to supporting Israelis working independently and with Palestinians and neighbouring countries to deal with regional threats to the climate and water resources.

The detrimental effect climate change is having on the world is undeniable. We call for immediate actions at all levels of government, as well as within civil life, to confront dependencies on fossil fuels, call for reductions in emissions and above all, to transition to a safe, clean future where no one is left behind. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change highlights that the Mediterranean region is one of the most vulnerable in the world when it comes to global warming. It is vital that we focus on the safety and health of our current and future climate. The self-determination, longevity and security of the Jewish people and all peoples depend on it.
